Re-issuance of International Driving Permit (IDP)

High Commission of India, Suva has started accepting applications from the eligible Indian nationals for re-issuance of their International Driving Permit (IDP) with effect from 15th February, 2021. This service will be provided directly by the High Commission of India, Suva. The applicant is required to visit the High Commission for availing the service with the following documents:

(i) Miscellaneous Consular Service Application Form
( https://www.indiainfiji.gov.in/pdf/MISC.SERVICE FORM
(ii) Valid Indian Passport along with photocopy
(iii) Status in Fiji: Visa/Work Permit/Exemption Permit/PR
(iv) Valid Indian Driving license along with photocopy    
(v) Expired International Driving Permit (IDP) along with photocopy
(vi) Two recent photographs (2”x2”)

After verification of the IDP, the High Commission will issue a receipt to the applicant. After obtaining the receipt from the High Commission, the applicant is required to apply for fresh issue of IDP through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in  and upload the documents alongwith the receipt issued by the High Commission. On receipt of the application through the portal, the licensing authority, on verification of the documents, shall issue the IDP and shall courier it directly to the address of the applicant.
